*Profit share assumes all company profit is distributed equally among agent owners. Actual cash distributions can be lower because of reserves, growth, taxes, or other needs. Negative amounts represent a modeled share of losses, not a promised payout or an automatic obligation to contribute. Initial capital is not operating revenue.
Planning Assumptions & Important Limits
The supplied example uses 15 owners, 36 new households per owner annually, $5,000 average annual household premium, 15% agency revenue, 85% retention, and $95,000 in first-year expenses rising 18% annually. Agents own 50% collectively; the insurance operating partner owns the other 50%. Each agent buys 10 units at $800, or $8,000. The 150 agent units raise $120,000 in initial capital.
Each year retains the prior year’s households at the selected retention rate, then adds the same new annual households. Premium and revenue rates stay constant across the five years. Calculations retain full precision; displayed values are rounded. Percentage rates are limited to 0–100%, expenses and other inputs cannot be negative, and owner count uses whole agents.
This is an illustrative planning model, not a promise of earnings or finalized participation terms. It excludes taxes, carrier-specific commission differences, profit-sharing or contingent commissions, financing costs, extraordinary claims-related expenses, regulatory and legal costs beyond the expense budget, and a separate reserve policy. Final eligibility, ownership, licensing, and distribution terms must be confirmed in signed agreements.
How It Works
Your Path From Interest To Income
01
Talk To Parker
Reach Parker Fain at Cross State Insurance with your questions about the model, the opportunity, and what participation looks like.
02
Complete The Buy-In
Participation requires a buy-in to create the company. The exact amount and ownership terms will be shared when they are finalized.
03
Complete Setup Before Earning
Company formation, licensing, appointments, agreements, and compliant operations must be in place before income can be distributed.
Important
Income Begins Only After The Required Setup
This is an introduction to the opportunity, not a promise of earnings. Final ownership, employment, licensing, eligibility, compensation, and compliance terms come from the participating company and signed agreements.
